Employees operate the order on the PDA screen, click on the medicine to be picked up, and the corresponding medicine cabinet will light up, and the employee can take the medicine directly. The lighting time is about 60 seconds. After taking out the medicine, employees can turn off the light in advance without waiting. With the reminder of the light, employees no longer need to spend time looking for the corresponding medicine cabinet. The screen of the cabinet display the name of the medicine for easy checking to avoid mistakes.

This PICK BY LIGHT operation process can help them save more than 80% of operating time and achieve zero errors. It used to take about 15 minutes to pick an order, now it only takes 3 minutes to complete. Employees have more time to serve customers instead of picking items, which improves store operating efficiency and improves customer satisfaction.
